Office Policies
Clear Expectations. Thoughtful Care.
Our policies are designed to create a smooth experience for both our patients and our team. We appreciate your understanding and partnership in helping us provide exceptional care.
Payments & Financial Policy
Payment for services is due at the time of service. We accept:
Cash • Check • Visa • Mastercard • CareCredit
Returned checks are subject to a $40 processing fee, and future check payments may be declined.
If you have questions about your account or financial arrangements, our administrative team is happy to assist.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you and often requires preparation by our clinical team. We understand that plans can change, and we simply ask that you give us as much notice as possible.
Please provide at least two business days' notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.
Appointments changed with less than two business days' notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Arriving 15 minutes or more after your scheduled appointment time may result in the appointment being considered missed and rescheduled, with the applicable cancellation fee.
If you are experiencing an illness or emergency, please contact our office as soon as possible. We will always do our best to work with you when circumstances arise.
Please note: An appointment is not considered canceled until you have received confirmation from a member of our team.
We appreciate your consideration of our team's time. Providing adequate notice allows us to offer the appointment time to another patient who may need care.
Dental Insurance
Understanding Your Benefits
Turning Point Dental & Aesthetics is out of network with all dental insurance plans. As a courtesy, we are happy to file primary insurance claims on your behalf when complete and accurate insurance information is provided.
Patients are responsible for their deductible and estimated portion at the time of service, as well as any remaining balance after insurance processes the claim.
Your dental insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. While we are happy to assist with the claims process, insurance coverage and reimbursement are ultimately determined by your insurance provider, and patients are responsible for all fees incurred.
For the most accurate information regarding your benefits, limitations, and coverage, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly.
Overdue Accounts
Accounts with balances more than 30 days past due may be subject to a billing fee.
Outstanding balances that remain unpaid may be referred to a collections agency. If collection efforts become necessary, patients may be responsible for associated collection costs, attorney fees, court costs, and other expenses incurred by the practice.
